MISSOURI NAVIGATOR PROJECT 2022
Welcome to the Missouri Enabling Technology Navigator Landing Page!
This page has been designed for participants in the 2022-2023 Missouri ET Navigator Project. SHIFT has put it together so you have access to project information and resources. SHIFT will keep it updated so please check here if you have questions about the syllabus or anything else SHIFT-related!

In February, you’ll be enrolled in SHIFT platform. You will have two months to complete the self-paced courses and Navigator exam, then you’ll work on your case study project. You’ll also have access to webinars, tech huddles, and planning resources that you’re welcome to explore right there in SHIFT.
SHIFT runs best on Google Chrome and Safari. Internet Explorer creates issues.

On the third Wednesday of the month at 10amCST, you’ll meet with Holly to discuss various topics related to your role as a support coordinator and Navigator candidate. These will last 55 minutes.

Over the course of the year, you’ll have three coaching sessions with the SHIFT team. This time will be used to discuss topics related to your Navigator coursework, case study project, and in-field experiences.

Think of one individual that came to mind as you began exploring technology as a natural support.
How would technology be used in their daily lives?
Are there technologies you'd not considered before but might be relevant now?
How will you work with the circle of support/planning team to create person-centered conversations around the individual's interest in and use of technology?

Exploring Barriers and Offering Solutions
Please come to the webinar prepared to share 2 barriers you've encountered. These can be related to technology integration, people's willingness or buy-in, the culture of an organization, access to technology, etc.
Even if you've not tried them, what are 2 solutions that could address one or both barriers?
Be ready to share these with the group in a small discussion format.
