Constance Harrington (she/her)

Constance Harrington is the Director of Education and Accreditation for SHIFT. Constance is a nationally recognized subject matter expert on enabling technology. From speaking at trainings and events across the country to advising decision-makers on best practices and policy development to serving as an all-around champion for the implementation of enabling technology – Constance has spent the past 20 years helping people with differing abilities to live the lives they want to live. She has earned her Master of Counseling Psychology and is a proud graduate of the National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities.

Kaley Hembree (she/her)

Kaley Hembree is the Communications and Projects Coordinator for SHIFT. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Western Carolina University. Kaley is passionate about her work, enhancing SHIFT’s learning community through marketing and communications.

Jill Ibbotson (she/her)

Jill Ibbotson is the Director of SHIFT. A graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Journalism and Mass Communications, she has worked in the fields of public relations and non-profit management. With over 25 years as a director with a large non-profit organizations, she is experienced in the realms of equity and inclusion, customer and partnership service, staff and organizational development, collaboration, and innovation. As Director, she gives support and oversight to SHIFT projects and strategic growth, ensuring excellent care and service are provided to our learners.

Patrick Hugh Lane (he/him)

Patrick is the Education Manager with SHIFT. With 19 years of human services experience, Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge working with adults who have neurodiverse support needs and a passion for developing the professionals that serve them. As a subject-matter expert in Person-Centered practices, he often presents at conferences and advises organizational leaders. In a Person-Centered context, he believes enabling technology offers a generational opportunity for those receiving services to have more control over lives they have chosen for themselves. Patrick is a mentor with The Learning Community for Person-Centered Practices and holds a graduate degree from Mercer University.

Robert McGregor (he/him)

Robert McGregor is the Platforms Coordinator for SHIFT. Robert graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a B.A. in Education and a M.A. in Educational Technology. In his role, Robert ensures an excellent experience for SHIFT learners, and keeps the SHIFT platform running smoothly. Robert enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Richard Harrington (he/him)

Richard Harrington is an Education and Accreditation Coordinator for SHIFT. He has 28 years of experience in the Human Services field, serving in a variety of roles ranging from DSP to Case Management to Assistive Technology Consultant. For the last 14 years, his focus has been on collaborating with provider organizations to develop successful technology programs.

Beth Blevins (she/her)

Beth is an Education and Accreditation Coordinator with SHIFT. She is passionate about advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, and for inclusive practices that cultivate equitable space and opportunities for all people to have self-determined and meaningful lives. She holds an undergraduate degree in Multidisciplinary Anthropology from Appalachian State University, and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching - Special Education from Western Carolina University as a NC Inspire Teaching Fellow. She spent a decade in the classroom, serving in various settings as a special education and English teacher in public high schools in NC, TN, and VA. She then worked in inclusive higher education for a Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Program in Tennessee, supporting students as they integrated into their communities after graduation. In that role, she also connected with agencies, organizations, and employers across the region to foster more inclusive, person-centered employment practices.

Beth Dyer

Beth is an Education Coordinator with SHIFT. She has a lifelong passion for learning and for helping others grow. With a background that bridges social work and secondary education, she pairs passion with instructional expertise to design engaging, learner-centered experiences. Beth holds a BSW from the University of Kansas and an M.Ed. in Secondary English Education from DePaul University. In her role, she’s focused on ensuring every learner feels supported, challenged, and inspired—building pathways that lead to meaningful personal and professional growth. Outside of work, Beth is an avid baker, reader, and Swiftie. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and cheering for her Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
